The sponge is the real star here, it wipes down the basin walls way faster than the paper towels I was using before. I didn't realize how much gunk builds up around the pump until I started using this set weekly. My fountain's been running quieter since I started keeping up with it.

The little brush gets into the pump nooks where my old sponge couldn't reach, and the sponge handles the bowl in a few passes. My fountain's been running quieter since I started using these weekly.
